LAWN FERTILIZATION

We will assess your lawn’s fertilization needs. Based on the desired look of your lawn combined with our assessment of your lawn’s needs, we will come up with an application program that best fits your needs. This application schedule includes the following:
- Pre emergent Weed and Crabgrass Control-This is done in the early spring and it prevents the emergence of grassy weeds while at the same time controlling weed seeds.
- Broadleaf Weed Control-This is done in mid spring to kill the broadleaf weeds in the grass. Examples of broadleaf weeds include dandelions and chickweed.
- Balanced Fertilizer-This is applied in early summer to help keep the lawn greener.
- Broadleaf Weed Control-This is applied again in late summer to kill the broadleaf weeds in the grass.
- Winterizer-This is applied in late fall. This helps preserve the grass over the winter months.
- Lime and Insect Control can be applied when the need arises.

In the Spring and Fall seasons, we will provide a complete cleanup of the lawn, beds, and plants. We will remove leaves and other debris in the yard, clean out flower beds, and trim up shrubs on the property.

Whether it’s the leaves and fallen branches that have gathered from the winter season or the preparation of fall beds, which includes the hauling away of all remnants from the summertime, our thorough leaf removal service will prepare your yard for new plantings and growth.

WEEKLY MOWING, TRIMMING & BLOWING

Mowing will be on a weekly basis, with a five day rotation in the spring months, when grass grows more rapidly. Properties will be trimmed when the grass is mowed, along building edges, curbs, and ditches. Grass clippings will be blown off of sidewalks and driveways.

We provide services at any time of the day when snow falls to clear lots and sidewalks to ensure safety of customers and staff. We specialize in zero tolerance properties. This means that we will continue to keep your lot and sidewalks clear of snow and ice. Zero tolerance properties take precedence over properties which are a trigger of 1 inch or more of snow.

We put down de-icing material to lots and sidewalks during and after snow events in order to make the surfaces more safe and easier to maneuver.
> SNOW PLOWING
We provide snow plowing services to commercial properties to ensure safe, effective vehicle and pedestrian travel. Scott’s Lawn Care has an entire fleet of trucks equipped to handle large parking lots and roadways in any amount of snow.
